I’ve recently been fiddling around with InterNet and FTP. After learning how it works, I began a voracious search for any site listings I could find (ones that had GIF and Mac program libraires). I was very excited after getting my hands on two or three long site listings. Just imagine all of the great programs I could find! However, I found these lists to be very out-of-date; almost all of the mentioned sites were gone, had no files of interest, were not accessible via anonymous ftp, etc.
So I decided to compile my own simple listing showing active sites that have considerable GIF collections and/or Mac program collections. All accept “anonymous” logins.
